Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. Fires Back

The German district of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X said in a press release dated April 30, that it has filed a complaint against Father Eberhard Schockenhoff of the Faculty of Theology at the University in Friburg-en-Brisgau. In an April 19 broadcast, Schockenhoff had described the Fraternity as "shallow right-wing extremist" seeing there "an ideological blend of fascism and positions once supported by the National Socialists”. The district of Germany holds that these words should be criminally prosecuted because they defame an entire group of traditional Catholics and severely damage their reputation. Father Schockenhoff recently claimed that a homosexual union is "ethically valuable”.

The blog ‘abbey-roads.blogspot.com’ has criticized Cardinal Schönborn’s call for the Church to reevaluate its position on gay relationships and divorced and remarried Catholics. The cardinal has recently argued that – Quote - “a stable homosexual relationship is certainly better than if someone chooses to be promiscuous.” ‘Abbey-Roads’ challenges the statement of the Cardinal: “Has the Cardinal first hand knowledge of a lot of successful, faithful, long term gay relationships?”

The region’s first official workshop for priests who want to obtain or improve their knowledge of how to say the Tridentine Mass will be held in Vitebsk, Belarus on July 13 to 17, 2010, Rorate caeli reports. The workshop is taught by Fr. Ivo Ounpuu of the Apostolic Administration of Estonia. It will be a joint effort of Una Voce Albaruthenia, Una Voce Russia and the parish of St. Barbara Cathedral in Vitebsk. The Bishop of Vitebsk, Mgr. Wladislaw Blin, has granted his blessing to the event, and Mgr. Athanasius Schneider, the famous Auxiliary Bishop of Karaganda, will celebrate a Pontifical Mass during the workshop.

Lord Jesus Christ Hit By a Car Last Tuesday

Last Tuesday a 50-year-old man from Belchertown Massachusetts has been run down by a 20-year-old female car driver – the blog ‘Acts of the Apostasy’ has reported. The man was crossing a street in Northampton, Massachusetts. The Officers checked his ID and discovered that his legal name is Lord Jesus Christ. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor facial injuries.
