Cardinal Gerhard Müller closed the first day of the current "National Conservatism"-Conference in Brussels, that Emir Kir, the local mayor, was unable to prevent.
Kir is of Turkish origin. He became a socialist, falsely presented himself as a "graduate in political science", has been a member of the discredited European Parliament since 2014 and is a denier of the Turkish genocide against the Armenians.
Although the police siege didn't allow anyone to enter, including the French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour, participants managed to smuggle food and a few bottles of wine into the venue.
The conference is being attended by leading European politicians, including Hungary's Prime Minister Orban. He wrote on Twitter about the police siege: "I guess they couldn't take free speech any more. The last time they tried to silence me with the police was in '88 when the communists used them on me. We didn't give up then and we won't give up now!"

"We must fight for the independence of the university from political and ideological influence."
Such his fight will brings nothing.
