Mariologists Rebuke Tucho's Document as Erroneous and Unfortunate
Let's face it - this is all on Prevost's watch. He kept Tucho on, and he signed off on this spurious, and generally unnecessary document. Taking a Mary down a few pegs is genuinely the most pressing matter of the Faith at the moment?! Really?!! Perhaps Prevost and Tucho needs to be re-examined.
Bishop supports priest canceling Christmas and anything to do with the great Feast of the Incarnation
Any excuse. By the way, this has been tried before; it never succeeded. "Those who do not know their history..."
German Bishop: “We German Bishops Are Accused of No Longer Being Catholic”
Talk about suffering from 'both dialogical feet in mouth' disease. Purposefully thick.
Filioque: How Leo XIV Diverges from the Council of Florence
I cannot help but think that there is more than a little of the 'Peter Principle' (Lawrence J., not St. Simon Peter) going on here. Prevost has been elevated to a level beyond his competency, and, no matter his ideological bent (or, if you prefer, bent ideology), it shows.
Filioque: How Leo XIV Diverges from the Council of Florence
Is an omission a 'divergence'? It appears more emphatically ideological than that to me.
"George Galloway Speaks Out on Being Forced Into Exile After Criticizing Ukraine War"
One knows something is amiss when one is no longer permitted to speak. Mr. Galloway is not always my 'wee dram of scotch' for some of the things he expounds, but he, and others like him, voice their views civilly, even if somewhat bombastically. They compel the rest of us to re-examine our own views so as to test them against what he says and refine them where necessary, and that is never a bad thing to do.
Tucho: From Now On, ‘Co-Redemptrix’ Not Allowed in Liturgy or Vatican Documents
Rather ham-fisted after he tried to soft soap it initially. It didn't take long.
Famous Mariologist Who Dislikes Title Co-Redemptrix: Tucho Misstepped, Incompetent, Overly Radical
Tragically, given the number of appointments Bergoglio and Prevost have given to people who openly avow 'abortion', this is not huge leap for Prevost or Tucho and the shock value St Francis de Sales intended with his words is, likely, entirely lost upon them.
Famous Mariologist Who Dislikes Title Co-Redemptrix: Tucho Misstepped, Incompetent, Overly Radical
Although I agree with his assessment of Tucho, this "famous Mariologist's" personal dislikes are beyond the perview of a genuine theologian, I would think. Too many theologians today are full of 'personal' likes and dislikes when they should be 'sticking to the text'. We need more authentic theologians who are imbued with a knowledge of, and love of, the deposit of Faith as it has been revealed from God to humans, most of whom never went to a university.
Leo XIV breaks the mold: the theologian whom the Synodal Path refused to hear is received at the …
Good for her but Leo's body language, in the accompanying photos for the article, don't 'read' well to me. (Let's just say she isn't on par with Robert De Niro or Cate Blanchett. Leo appears to have worn his 'Trump face' to the encounter.) From my perspective, this looks more conciliatory than it actually will be. Time will tell.
Pope Leo tells young people in the United States that he uses a different starter word for Wordle each day
When Catholic words sound like 'weasel words' I think of Shakespeare, "The devil can cite scripture for his purpose." Given Prevost actions, 'actions speak louder than words.'
Pope Leo tells young people in the United States that he uses a different starter word for Wordle each day
Leo, I'll save you time today - your starter word is 'resign'.
Pope: Liturgical formation must be renewed with ‘new paths and methods' - Adoremus
The most charitable and diplomatic observation would be to quote the proverb, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

Canadian Government Policy | Doctors Coerced To Push Euthanasia Instead Of Care
Canada's "free healthcare" seems awfully lucrative from an estate tax perspective for any government which has bungled its budgeting. Nothing governmentally is ever "free".
