The relics of St. Anthony of Padua received a tremendous reception in Ireland in recent days . No fewer than 30,000 people came to St. John's Cathedral in Limerick on Monday for worship .
Relics of St. Anthony are preparing to travel from Ireland to the UK, from Belfast, Thursday, Oct. 24 and continuing to Glasgow , Aberdeen, Newcastle , Manchester, Liverpool , Chester and London
Father Mario Conte, editor of St. Anthony Messenger magazine , came to accompany the relics when traveling . This visit takes place on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the discovery of intact language of St. Anthony by St. Bonaventure.
Saint Anthoine Padua died in 1231 and has since been canonized .
