Thirsty Cardinals
After dinner, the prelate in question invited some fellow cardinals to his room for a private discussion over a few digestifs.
One glass led to another and in no time the prelates had consumed the entire contents of the minibar in the room at the Casa Santa Marta.
The cost of the liqueurs was subsequently charged to the Cardinal, who was under the illusion that it was all free.
He did not appreciate the unwelcome surprise.
