Retired Diocesan Bishop Consecrates PiusX Church

Vitus Huonder, 81, retired Chur Bishop (ordained a Novus Ordo bishop in 2007), consecrated the church of the Society of St. Pius X in the Swiss border town of Oberriet, on November 18.

Oberriet is one of the largest PiusX priories in the German-speaking world. Many of the faithful come from neighbouring Austria. The priory was founded in 1978 in a machine room of a former rubber factory.

The church has three altars and seats 300 people.

Has this bishop renounced the Novus Ordo heresy and has a valid episcopal consecration?

No and No. The consecration is doubtful at best but probably invalid. The SSPX are paying the price of never having properly adressed the question of the Novos Ordo Sacraments, but simply treating those who discuss this as extremists

A statement without an evidence, without any authority to say so? How dare you?

Glorious!!!….and the holy women religious all look so blessedly beautiful in their habits, just as true and authentic daughters of Christ should. The ladies and girls splendidly adorned in chapel veils and the men and boys dressed in ties and blazers, wonderful. I was particularly moved as His Excellency, Bishop Huonder, sanctified the Altars. May the Holy Sacrifices made thereupon be acceptable and pleasing to God, our Father, and bring eternal glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, forever, world without end.
