France: Novus Ordo Pays the Price for Francis’ Hatred of the Mass

Francis’ aggression against the Mass has led to a record number of entries in Roman Rite seminaries in France, Paix-Liturgique.org (September 13) writes.

On the other hand, few men enter France’s Novus Ordo seminaries. In Paris Archdiocese, out of six candidates – all of them solid Catholics - who completed the propaedeutic year, only one began the first cycle of theology.

The other six also loved the Roman Rite and were therefore discouraged by Francis' rigidity, which has afflicted the Novus Ordo Church following Traditionis Custodes.

The "reforms" Francis has introduced to vocational discernment (propaedeutic year for seminarians; longer novitiates for religious) actually reduce the numbers who enter. Seems counter-productive to me.
