Three Hours: Todays meeting between Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill at Havana's Airport, will last for about three hours according to the Moscow Patriarchate. Kirill heads the largest of the 15 local Orthodox Churches.

He could soon seek bail after an appeals court refused to reverse a decision to throw out his conviction that he endangered an altar boy by sending a known pedophile priest to the boy's parish in the Nineties. In January, Newsweek published a shocking report showing that the altar boy whose name is Daniel Gallagher is an admitted liar who provided conflicting and unreliable information and who was arrested six times. Philadelphia archdiocese paid him an estimated 5 million dollars for his lies.
Catholic Nuncio: On February 6 Norman Chia explained on the blog Live Scripture why he stopped being an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. Chia points out that lay-people have no right to touch the Host with their fingers. He quotes the Scripture, the Catechism of Trent and Saint Thomas Aquinas. The nuncio in Switzerland, U.S. born Archbishop Thomas Gullickson, put Chia’s text on his Facebook account.
Age: Benedict XVI has increasingly problems with walking according to the news website of the German Bishops. He needs a walker to move around in the house and a golf cart to make it to the Grotta di Lourdes, a replica of the Grotto in Lourdes, France, in order to say the rosary. Every two or three months Pope Francis visits him.
