Slovacchia - Il parlamento ha approvato un emendamento alla Costituzione del paese che: - sancisce che sono riconosciuti solo due generi, quello maschile e quello femminile; - vieta la possibilità della gestazione per altri; - include anche un impegno a eliminare la differenza di salario legata al genere; - Stabilisce che le norme nazionali avranno priorità sulle norme europee sui temi culturali ed etici. È un cambiamento importante perché riduce i diritti delle coppie omosessuali
Slovakia has amended its constitution to assert national sovereignty over EU laws in matters of identity and ethics. The amendment:
Legally recognizes only two biologically determined sexes (male and female).
Bans surrogacy.
Restricts adoption to heterosexual married couples.
Requires parental consent for students’ participation in sex education.
The measure passed narrowly in parliament with 90 out of 150 votes after conservative opposition members joined the ruling coalition. Prime Minister Robert Fico framed the move as defending tradition, family, and Christian values against progressive politics. President Peter Pellegrini is expected to sign the amendment.
