Isaiah 62:1-5“Nations shall behold your vindication, and all kings your glory.”
This is the announcement of God’s coming to us.
Acts 13:16-17, 22-25
John the Baptist said, “Behold, one is coming after me; I am not worthy to unfasten the sandals of his feet.”
God keeps his sandals. Moses, the man, takes off his sandals before God. For that time, the message was a sign that it is God who is present.
Matthew 1:1-25
The genealogy leading up to Jesus indicates that he is truly 100% Man while also being truly 100% God.
He comes to bring joy to earth and into hearts.
