Holy Poverty Stalls Construction of Horror Cathedral

The plans of Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo, a Presbyterian, to build an interdenominational cathedral have been stalled amid an economic crisis.

Ghana effectively defaulted on repaying most of its external debt. The planned building is of exquisite ugliness. It will include a park, music school, gallery, and Bible Museum.

In January, Akufo-Addo said that the cathedral is “an act of thanksgiving to the Almighty” for his blessings, including preserving Ghana from war.

The cathedral will cost $100M. Only in 2022, Ghana spent $240M for its military. The cost for a Walmart Supercenter of which there are 3573 in the US, is $40M.
