Homily Tuesday, December 23 2025
Malachi 3:1-4, 23-24“Now I am sending my messenger—he will prepare the way before me; And the lord whom you seek will come suddenly to his temple.”
Malachi listens to his heart and he is convinced that the Lord, God with us, will come to his temple, the temple of his body.
Luke 1:57-66
“Zechariah, filled with the holy Spirit, prophesied.”
Zechariah is also someone who listens with his heart. He blesses God, and this confirms the presence of the Holy Spirit within him, who praises the Lord.
