Italian Synod Approved Invalid Female Deacons

On October 25, the Italian Synod approved a final document of proposals accepting homosexuality and also calling for the invalid ordination of women to the diaconate.

Section 71c of their document states that the Italian Synod "promotes research projects of theological faculties and theological associations to offer a contribution to the deepening of issues relating to the diaconate of women initiated by the Holy See."

This section regarding the female diaconate was the least popular among participants at the synod, passing with 77% approval.

The document was warmly welcomed by the Italian bishops, including its president, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi of Bologna. He urged the bishops to implement the proposals within their respective dioceses.

The day before the vote, Cardinal Zuppi celebrated Vespers for traditional Catholics in Rome.

How shameful of the group of 'swampy' Italian cardinals (?!) who could not wait to have the doors of their 'closets' opened... just to show their true 'identity'. Thanks to the Lord that these swampy prelates are neither the majority nor have that much support from the regular people! God will provide the solution or cure to save the Church.
