Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced Monday the removal of nearly 3,000 commercial driver’s license training providers from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Training Provider Registry for failing to meet federal standards. Another 4,500 training providers were placed on notice for potential noncompliance. The purge represents the most aggressive enforcement action against CDL training fraud in agency history.
