If the alleged testimony is not true, off what benefit is it for the faithful? Prudence dictates that we leave such claims of divine intervention to the competent Church authorities to determine their veracity. Until such judgement is made we, as members of the Church's faithful, should not engage in public propaganda less we influence others wrongly.
