The report, published annually by the Vatican's Financial Information Authority, also showed that the Vatican's cooperation with international financial regulators to combat fraud and money laundering has increased almost six-fold in the same amount of time. The report showed that just 56 Suspicious Activity Reports were filed with the authority in 2018, down from a peak of 544 just three years earlier, in 2015.
