Revelation 3:16
So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
For all you lukewarm Catholics taking up space in church. Chew on this verse for a moment and realize that you will most certainly end up like this, if you do not become a RADICAL CATHOLIC!!!!!!

Well, to their credit, the "lukewarm Catholics taking up space in church." at least ARE still taking up space in church. Would you rather they lapse into apostacy? Before you answer that, ask yourself what Jesus' answer would be if He were asked.

Jesus was and still is a stern Master!!!
Although God is Merciful, his image by watered down Catholicism, has been misrepresented. People need to understand that Jesus is merciful, but he is and was Perfectly JUST!!. To carry the label as being Catholic, a person Is radically for Christ or not! It is really just that black and white. The Bible is Black and white and must be taken literally. Jesus clearly stated, “ your either with me or against me” no negotiation. The lesson of the rich man is perfect example, here we see Jesus telling the rich man leave everything and follow me, The rich man was a lukewarm, therefore did not follow him!!! The message is don’t be a Luke warm Catholic...

And yes people who are lukewarm are taking up space and must not enter into the church. The lukewarms are the ones talking during mass, dressing inappropriately, receiving communion without confession.

Let me ask you a question, is it better to have a lukewarm in mass who does not take the sacraments (confession.etc..) seriously and risk eating his or her own condemnation????

No one is contesting the justness of The Lord, Lalanz. You were griping about luke-warm Catholics "taking up space" (your words) in Church.

Your argument that "lukewarm are taking up space and must not enter into the church." violates Canon Laws 1246-1248. All Catholics are obligated, on pain of grave sin, to attend Mass every Sunday and on all Feast Days, whether they are "luke-warm" in your estimation or not.

Unlike you, I would rather see luke-warm Catholics still regularly attending Mass, being exposed to the Chruch's teachings through edifying sermons, the Gospels and letters of St. Paul, and witnessing the glorious mystery of Transubstantiation. At least they still have the potential for God's message to reach their hearts.

It is entirely possible for a luke-warm Catholic to attend Mass without committing a grave sin through unworthily receiving the Eucharist.

On a related point, don't automatically assume that people who are "receiving communion without confession" haven't already gone to confession earlier in the week and have, with a thorough examination of their conscience, found no mortal sins in the intervening time between their last confession and Mass. Depending on the parish, there are very long lines for confession. It is both convenient and an act of charity for our fellow parishioners, to confess a day or two early and free up our heavily over-worked priests on Sunday.
