"Late term" means the baby is enough advanced that s/he likely could survive outside the womb if delivered and given medical attention rather than murdered.
In Maryland abortion is legal for any reason through 26 weeks, and for specific reasons until birth. The "specific reasons" criteria means nothing because what is acceptable is at the discretion of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart's himself by his own admission as explained in a talk given at pristigeoue, baby-murdering John's Hopkins University.
The authorities who could put an end to this barbaric practice are not interested in doing so.
