Yes it’s foolish for any catholic to believe God is not 100% in control. Human free will has its limits...our free will can’t stop our life from ending!!!
God knows the exact day and hour/min someone will die. We are nothing but little creations. God gives life and and simply take it way. There have been many cases in history when God acts instantly after people. The Fact remains we don’t know God’s plans and we should have a “ heathy fear and recognition that he is always in control. God will alow the worst pope in history to remain in the seat until he feels fit to replace him...
In my opinion, God is allowing Francis to remain In power, because we do not deserve any better. Too many years/ generations of lukewarm Catholics have pissed God off!!!!
