DAY 14: “God is dead!”--That’s just one of the (repeatable) things we’ve heard people yell at 40 Days for Life vigil participants. Some of the others include:“Loser! Go get a job!” “God is dead – nobody is listening!” “Children are too much work! More abortion!”Comments like this are why you need a strong faith in God, maturity … and a sense of humor to participate in 40 Days for Life.

The world takes itself very seriously — and the people on the receiving end of these taunts did the right thing. They prayed for those who yelled at them … and recalled the words of Christ:
“Blessed are you when they insult and hate you all because of me. Rejoice and be glad; the kingdom of heaven is yours.” 40daysforlife.com/2016/10/11/day-14-insult-hate/
