OK, so I listened latest episode of Ann Barnhardt podcast and checked this out, because had previously heard Fr Ripperger say this was ok.. how many Catholics today have bought into the modern culture as regarding sexual ethics one wonders.. agree the author's comments about being careful of cult of personality and just because a particular priest is popular or is deemed to be in the traditional mould, does not mean all he says is failsafe. Need discernment.

In that video, he approves of certain intrinsically evil sexual acts by Catholic spouses. I'm glad I don't listen to him anymore. Many people didn't understand why I didn't like him. I found a much better exorcist anyhow. Unfortunately, he was accused of abuse. Which broke my heart because he seemed very concerned and knew a lot. Didn't joke, didn't act silly. Just straight facts. I hope it's not true what they claim about him.
Father Ripperger or Conte? I didn't read the full article. I don't listen to Conte either. I ran from Father Ripperger long ago. Especially when he spoke of the prot's. And though at first I enjoyed his jokes sometimes, I got tired of them. I found a Priest I liked a lot better. He was not only more serious but he seemed genuinely caring. Father Glas. They say he is accused of abuse now. That broke my heart. I don't bother to listen to anyone anymore now. I had it with all of them. I'm not saying I believe in the accusations. I like to have solid proof. But if it is true? It will break my heart. And I hope it's not true.
I encountered Fr Piotr Glas once in Medjugorje some years back.., he also was assigned a parish priest in Reading, here in UK, I know that, has not been active as an exorcist I believe some while now..
My spiritual director for a number of years, on and off was a Fr Jeremy Davies, OSB , now deceased, who was an exorcist priest operative in my diocese (Westminster). He co-founded the International Association of Exorcists along with Fr Gabriel Amorth, you may find something about him online.
I never noticed that about Father Ripperger. But he does not seem serious at all. Or not enough. What did you make of Father Glas. I really liked him. Though I have not watched his video's in a long time now.
I think if you are doing work like that, (you have to have that sort of grave temperament, and Fr Jeremy did have it..), you have to be holy to drive the devil out.. you are going to be under attack.. and to be skeptical of accusations made, because you know who the accuser is.. to look for proof of course, seek discernment.
