Francis to Preside a Eucharist – For Maradona

Francis who forbids celebrating Mass in Saint Peter’s Basilica, will preside a November 25 Eucharist for Diego Maradona (+ 25 November 2020) in that church.

The Italian sports commentator Raffaele Auriemma writes this on Twitter.com (November 19), saying that after the event, Francis will receive Maradona’s friends and relatives.

Maradona was a Argentinean soccer player (yearly salary between 1984-1991 alone: $48 Million), a lapsed Catholic, adulterer, cocaine and alcohol addict, left-wing ideologist, Francis follower, and tax evader.
