Francis' Retreat Preacher: Threesome Sex As Image Of Trinity

Over 35 years ago, Rupnik maintained an abusive nine-year affair with her, saying that he could experience sex with her "as an expression of God's love."
She met Rupnik who was ten years older than her in 1985 when she was 21 and a sister in the Loyola Community. Rupnik was already a "star," with a strong personal charisma, known for his explanations of the Gospel. Rupnik became her spiritual guide. He also had a "keen sensitivity in identifying people’s weaknesses“ [manipulative narcissist].
The sister felt "important," but was strongly dependent on his judgement while Rupnik had affairs with about half of the 40 sisters of her community. He wanted "sex with as many women as possible."
Rupnik performed nude painting in his Roman studio and called it an "art form." He was also "an avid viewer of pornographic films". When the sister once refused to undress and let him touch her as usual, he became abusive towards her.
After this experience, she put aside her doubts and "trusted" him totally, "His sexual obsession was not impromptu but profoundly connected to his concept of art and his theological thinking," she believes. He pushed her into erotic games in his studio, after the Eucharist, after confession, and in the car when she accompanied him on his travels. Once there was a "very violent masturbation that I could not stop and during which I lost my virginity, an episode that led to urgent demands for oral sex," she recalls.
In his Roman studio, Rupnik asked her to have threesomes with another sister of her community. He said that sexuality had to be in the image of the Trinity where "the third person would welcome the relationship between the two."
She describes his "final step in this descent into hell" as the move from "theological justifications" for sex to an exclusively pornographic relationship. When she said she would report him, he replied, "Who would believe you? It's your word against mine: if you talk, I'll make you look crazy.“ She confronted him accusing him of lying but he remained silent.
In 1994, the sister informed Ljublijana Archbishop Šuštar who told her that the Jesuits had sanctioned Rupnik. She also told later Cardinal Spidlîk, Rupnik's spiritual adviser, about what happened. Spidlîk replied that those were "her business," and that he did not want to listen to it.
Neither her community, nor the Jesuits or the bishops helped her. Her superior told her she was under the influence of "the devil." In 1996 another sister came forward and spoke to the Jesuits.
It was not until 2019 that the Vatican initiated proceedings against Rupnik. In June 2019, restrictions were imposed on him, but they were hardly implemented. That same year, he founded a community of priests. In March 2020, Francis invited Rupnik to preach the Lenten retreat for the Roman Curia. Two months later (!) he was "excommunicated", but the CDF lifted the excommunication almost immediately because Rupnik had repented.
He was still prohibited to hear confessions, give spiritual direction, preach exercises and engage in public activities. Nevertheless, Rupnik preached spiritual exercises in February 2022 to 120 priests at the Holy House of Loreto. In April 2022, he presided the Eucharist in the Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida, Brazil.
In June 2022, Rupnik was commissioned to produce artwork for the World Meeting of Families in Rome.
Only now, after SilereNonPossum.it and MessaInLatino broke the news, the Jesuits invite victims to come forward.
