Vatican: More Strange Departures

Francis appointed on August 26 Sister Alessandra Smerilli, 43, an economist, as the Secretary ad interim of the Dicastery for Integral Human Development and Delegate for the Vatican Covid-19 Commission.

She replaces Monsignor Bruno Marie Duffé (secretary), 70, and Father Augusto Zampini (deputy secretary), 52, who both “returned to their dioceses.”

The new members of the Covid-19 commission are: Cardinal Turkson, Smerelli and Father Fabio Baggio, undersecretary of the [meaningless] section for migrants and refugees.

Duffé, from Lyon, France, and social ethicist, was only named in June 2017. Zampini, from San Isidrio, Argentina, a laywer and moral theologian, was appointed in April 2020 and headed the Covid-19 commission. LaNacion.com.ar (August 26) says that his “great dynamism and charisma” clashed with a “system that was still slow and bureaucratic.”

The dismissals came after Chicago Cardinal Blasé Cupich had investigated the dicastery.

At his August 25, 2021, general audience, Francis-Bergoglio went on to denounce St. Peter as a hypocrite and schismatic.

He also went on to charge St. Peter with schism, with creating an "unjust division within the community."

It was Cephas a different person not St. Peter.

The fact that Bergoglio had the audacity to question Peter's behavior is disgusting and vomit inducing. Peter was crucified upside down; Bergoglio had 2/3 of his colon removed. And he didn't have it removed out of love for Christ. Peter asked to be crucified upside down because he did not feel himself worthy to be crucified in the manner of Christ. And he didn't have it removed out of love for Christ. Peter asked to be crucified upside down because he did not feel himself worthy to be crucified in the manner of Christ. Jorge Bergoglio is a nightmare that brings one to ask of Providence, Why this Argentinian, why now, what could the faithful have possibly done to have this monster claim rulership over the Church Christ founded.

The fact you insist on referring to Pope Francis by his secular name is just as disgusting and vomit-inducing, not to mention astonishingly petty. Perhaps he brings you to ask of Providence such a fatuous and inane question, but you have no business assuming other Catholics share such stupidity. Not all of us immediately assume that Pope Francis is a form of divine punishment on all Catholics, …More

Not all of us immediately assume that Pope Francis is a form of divine punishment on all Catholics, especially "the faithful" the same way you have.

...that's because some of us understand how the doctrine of "free will" works and that bad things to happen to good people as a result of the decisions made by other bad people.
