Bishop On Anti-Mass-Rescript: Rom Has Spoken - The Matter Will Be Ignored
In Sankt Pelagiberg, a parish church in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, the local priest didn't introduce the Novus Ordo after the failed Vatican II. When the priest retired, the Fraternity of Saint Peter replaced him.
According to Francis' latest rescript, Basel Bishop Felix Gmür, 56, would have to forbid Mass in the church or apply to Rome for a dispensation.
But the bishop is in no hurry to implement the rescript.
His vicar general, Father Markus Thürig, told Kath.ch that the Mass will continue to be celebrated in Sankt Pelagiberg as before because it is a parish church, but also a pilgrimage church.
There is no way that Francis can touch Bishop Gmür, because all the powerful state and church tax institutions are behind him.

The mistake of these bishops was to ever ask for permission in the first place. Arthur needs to run off to Jorge for a note that says, “See, I CAN say, ‘No Mass for you!’” What a pathetic specimen.
I read that even most of his Vatican Cardinals and Bishops are against him on this. I hope it is completely ignored in many places. Francis and Roche can always work themselves into great big melt down hissy-fits.
