Francis Calls Benedict XVI a "Master“

Pope Francis received on Saturday the three recipients of the 2017 Ratzinger Prize.

In his address he called Benedict XVI “a master” and “a friend” of all those who use their reason and search for the truth.

Francis also thanked Benedict XVI for his prayer and “his discrete and encouraging presence” in the Vatican.
