Italy: COVID cops went in early this morning with water-cannon to clear the striking dockers from blockading the port.
Thousands of people have been heading down there all morning to re-enforce the blockade and keep the docks closed down.
Update: reports and videos of tear-gas being used to keep protestors from descending upon the port.
Tear gas is quite annoying and usually takes at least 3 exposures before a stout minded person can get past the results. Many in USA military were given these 3 exposures in training... it was this that helped me pull through other events... "yes this is horrible... and if I walk away it can stop... but, who will provide first aide if I do?"
I think it was a bleeding heart liberal who whined loudly enough to ensure our troops are less prepared... (until they get to advanced school).
They also neutered tools needed in gaining a mentally strong military by curtailing the physical training by removal of many valuable (yet painful) exercises.
I was told that we were the last company to get many of them. We also watched as no company behind us had them... so, a very believable claim.
