The Problem with the Novus Ordo Mass : Introduction

Many of the arguments given back and forth between Traditionalists and Conservative Catholics, I have personally found hyperbolic and not helpful. I at times have engaged in this myself. (Note: I define Traditionalists as those who see the New Mass a valid, but deficient, and Conservatives as those who appreciate the TLM, but advocate the Reform of the Reform position). Both sides tend to "straw man" their opponents arguments. Traditionalist: "Every New Mass is a clown Mass". "All New Masses are Invalid". Conservatives: "You are just acting like Martin Luther and the Protestants". "I mean, the New Mass is valid, so it's good".
