American Exorcist: Sin Has Increased Since Vatican II

Demonic activity increases when confession lines grow short, Father John Esseff, an exorcist for over 40 years in Scranton diocese, told ncregister.com (February 23).

According to Esseff sins have increased since Vatican II because of the decline in the sacrament of reconciliation, “This has been true all over the world where the Church has declined.”

He adds, that the more there are confessions, “the less we will have demonic activity.”

Since when are the low orders like "exorcist" not more conferred on the stony way to the priesthood?

This is a "no-brainer" for anyone who still believes in sacramental grace. But in our world of putting the emotional "cart" before the "horse" of firm reason and will, the sacrament of confession is on par with...say...a circle of acquaintances pouring out their hearts about life and faith over coffee and bagels.
