His Priestly Dress Saved Him

Father Maurizio Pallù’s life was spared by his Nigerian hijackers because he was dressed as a priest, Pallù told La Fede Quotidiana (November 30).

Father Pallù is a priest of the Roman diocese who belongs to the Neocatechumenal Way.

He was hijacked in the south of Nigeria by a gang of criminals, “I was scared to death, the persons who were with me were beaten and threatened but I was spared because I was dressed as a priest.”
