Rainbows and Feminism.
God is the unlimited source of all goodness. He bestows His goodness upon His creatures in diverse and limited measure. Consider the example of light: it contains all colors and without it no color can be seen. Light can reveal a rainbow, the diverse colors all arranged in their proper order; an order inherent to its nature which never changes. True diversity is ordered and displays the great beauty and unity which God has written into nature. Man too has a nature (a proper order to himself), though man can choose to accept or reject this right order. The better [worse] each man lives in accord with this order, the better [worse] each man is and everyone else is for it. Men and women are distinct. Yet we have confused their role and vocation for so long, that now society is even confused over distinctions in their bodies. Feminism proposes that women are equal to men, yet in reality it hinders the family, promotes envy, and fosters disorder, revolution and chaos. We must abandon a flawed desire for ‘equality at all costs,' and instead embrace the graces inherent to our nature and state in life.
