Excommunicated Father Jeremy Leatherby Laicised

Father Jeremy Leatherby who was a priest of Sacramento Diocese, California, has been laicised by the Vatican on his own request, Sacramento Bishop Jaime Soto announced on November 2.

Leatherby had been excommunicated for denying the legitimacy of Francis and for insisting that Benedict XVI was still the pope. He recently admitted accusations of sexual manipulation and coercion with a woman.
