Francis Cheered When Grech Became a Homosexualist

NcrOnline.org (September 25) published a profile of Cardinal Mario Grech, secretary general of the Ex-Synod of Bishops.

• In 2008, as Gozo Bishop, he said of the Maltese homosex group Drachma, which pretends to be "Catholic", "Whoever does not accept Christ's teachings should be honest with themselves and excommunicate themselves from the Church."

• In 2011, Grech was a leading voice in criticising attempts to legalise divorce.

• 2013: election of Francis and regime change in the Vatican.

• In October 2014, Grech gave a homosexualist lecture for Drachma attacking the Catholic Catechism for its “language” on homosexuality.

• After a Catholic backlash following the lecture, he said that a few days after his lecture, during a coffee break, Francis tapped him on his shoulders and thanked him for his courage [in betraying the Gospel for the sake of the powerful].

• Joseanne Peregin, a founding member of Drachma told NcrOnline.org (September 25) on Grech, “He had a very, very strong opinion and then he changed."

• In 2019, Francis made homosexualist Grech secretary general of the Ex-Synod of Bishops, in 2020 a cardinal.

How is it that a sin which “cries out to heaven for vengeance” absorbs all the time of the prelates? Our calling is to bring people to Christ. Specifically not to conform to the world but to be transformed by Christ. If you come to the Church a thief, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s generosity. If you come to the church proud, you are to be transformed to have Christ’s humility. If you come to the Church consumed with lust (same sex or otherwise), you are to be transformed to have Christ’s purity. The Church welcomes sinners. That has always been the case. But, the true Church commands that the sin be left in the confessional and a new man join to choir of saints.

It doesn't matter what Francis and Grech think about homos.....it's all going to blow up in their faces. The Synod will implode.
