Culprit: Edward Pentin’s new book “The Rigging of a Vatican Synod?: An Investigation into Alleged Manipulation at the Extraordinary Synod on the Family” shows that last October’s Synod was subject to manipulation. The book carries the endorsement of Durban Cardinal Wilfrid Fox. Pentin identifies the General Secretary of the Synod, Lorenzo Cardinal Baldisseri, as one of the chief manipulator of the Synod. Baldisseri is directly responsible to the Pope. He is accused of promoting pro-homosex and pro-divorce stances and of suppressing Catholic positions.
Dramatic Drop: The numbers of the participants at the Pope’s Wednesday General Audiences are dropping. According to data published by the Vatican, in 2013 the average number of participants at a Wednesday Audience was about 52.000. This number dropped in 2014 to 28.000 and in 2015 to 15.000 participants.
A Hero: Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis who has been in office for 27 years and who refuses to issue homosexual pseudo-marriage licenses has issued a statement. She writes: “I never imagined a day like this would come, where I would be asked to violate a central teaching of Scripture and of Jesus Himself regarding marriage. To issue a marriage license which conflicts with God’s definition of marriage, with my name affixed to the certificate, would violate my conscience.” And: “To me this has never been a gay or lesbian issue. It is a matter of religious liberty.” Kim has received death threats from pro-homosex groups.
According to the journalist Gianluca Barile, Cardinal Müller, the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has allegedly forbidden the visionaries of Medjugorje to divulge messages of Our Lady. The bishops are ordered to forbid public apperances of the seers in their dioceses. Nevertheless, on September 29th Vienna Cardinal Schönborn will host in his Cathedral an event with Marija Pavolvic-Lunetti, one of the six visionaries of Medjugorie who claims to have daily apparitions of Our Lady since 1981.

The bishop of Rome, as his fellow Latin American bishops, are eager to please the worldly, even at the cost of losing the devout. By not challenging anyone to live after the Gospel, Francis loses those striving to do it and fails to persuade those ignoring it.

The judge argued that she must go to jail until she accepts that she carries out legally mandated governmental duties,i AND in full consciousness against her conscience -- and that is the decisive point, namely: jail or violation of conscience. This is far worse than death threats (all illegal), because the judge is supposedly enforcing legitimate law. Davis could, if one takes literally the judge's words, remain in jail until she dies of old age (or is legally retired from gov. work). The implications are enormous. What happens when a Catholic doctor refuses to abort a child while working at a publically subvented clinic that formally accepts abortion. Will s/he too be jailed until s/he agrees to carry out an abortion? Eventually, the trend could effectively remove all Christians (not of the type of Biden, Cuomo or Pelosi) from governmental jobs. The state, now in hands of secularized Leftists (and marginally opposed by the American Church prelates), is repeating fundamentally what the Roman pagan emperors did, i.e., Christians must publically acknowledge emperorial divinity or face persecution. Today its is unlimited jail time vs violation of conscience.
