The Tragic Story of Sister Plaxedes

Sister Plaxedes Kamundiya, 49, was murdered and most likely raped in Mutoko, Zimbabwe, where she was visiting. Her body was found on October 24 floating in a dam after she had disappeared days ago. Sister was murdered while praying at the Holy Cross in Mutoko.

The police arrested a suspect, Enock Potani, 20, who confessed to the killing and is believed to be mentally challenged. He used a stone to murder Sr Plaxedes who fought for her life.

The victim worked as a teacher in Harare. She was a well-known gospel music composer.
