Why Does Pope Francis Interfere In Italian Politics?
According to the anti-Catholic Italian paper Repubblica there is an "agreement" between the leftwing Italian government and the Vatican to introduce the birthright citizenship in Italy.
The Italian journalist Antonio Socci comments, "Where are now the leftwing protesters who complained about 'interference' in politics any time the Church spoke out in favor of the sacredness of life?"
He further points out that Pope Francis, when Italy was about to introduce gay pseudo-marriage, refused to take a position "because he did not want to interfere in politics."
