Loved By the Masons: OnePeterFive has published a detailed analysis, which shows that Pope Francis has a lot of wrong friends. The text lists 62 enthusiastic statements in favor of Pope Francis issued by masons or Masonic Lodges.

Pro-Death Abortion: Stéphane Mercier has now been dismissed as a professor at the Catholic University of Louvain for having criticized abortion. The Belgian bishops substantial approved Mercier's removal. "Avvenire", the newspaper of the Italian bishops avoided taking a position in the case. The hospital of the Catholic University of Louvain practices openly 12-15 euthanasia procedures annually.

Exonerated: A jury in a civil trial has exonerated Father Joseph Jiang of allegations that he had inappropriate contact with a high school girl back in 2012. The jury cleared the Archdiocese of St. Louis of any wrongdoing as well. Father Jiang was hounded by the so called Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests until a judge reprimanded SNAP’s ex-director, David Clohessy, for defaming Father Jiang. Father Jiang has constantly had the support of St. Louis Archbishop Robert Carlson.

What Is The Reason? There has been a drop of almost six percent in the number of Irish Catholics since 2011. Still over 78 percent of the Irish call themselves Catholics. Dublin Archbishop Diarmuid Martin alleged that the Irish Church was so "fixed on the tiniest minutiae of doctrine" that it missed real depth of faith. Gloria.tv wants to add that these were not the times when the Irish Church was losing members.

These universities either go by catholic doctrine or they should called themselves something else but not catholic ,and those running it they should be given a choice to obey the doctrine or leave

Pro-Death Abortion: Louvain, as is true for many (most?) other so called Catholic Universities, has not been an authentic Catholic University for a long time as evidenced in the following statement from the "president's adviser" of the university:

Pro-Death Abortion: Louvain, as is true for many (most?) other so called Catholic Universities, has not been an authentic Catholic University for a long time as evidenced in the following statement from the "president's adviser" of the university:

Tania van Hemelryck, the special adviser to the university president on gender politics, spoke to Belgian television on behalf of the university, saying: The authorities want to find out the exact status of the text and how it was used during this course, bearing in mind that in any case UCL defends the fundamental right to abortion, and particularly women’s right to choose...

Whatever the outcome of the inquiry, the right to abortion is enshrined in Belgian law and the note that was brought to the attention of UCL is at odds with the values upheld by the university. Conveying standpoints that contradict these values in the framework of a teaching course is unacceptable.

What Is The Reason? Dublin Archbishop Diarmuid Martin said the following in his Palm Sunday homily:
Perhaps in Ireland we were over hypnotized by the high numbers who attended Mass in the past and paid too little attention to helping people really deepen their faith; and perhaps we were so fixed on the tiniest minutiae of doctrine that we missed real depth of faith.

Questions:
1) Archbishop, would you provide an example of “tiniest minutiae of doctrine” that you mentioned in your homily?
You are obviously not referring to the 10 commandments...are you? 😲

2) What is the “real depth of faith” that you speak of if not based on the words of Our Lord: 15 If you love me, keep my commandments. 😲

3) Do you actually believe that the decreasing numbers of people who attend mass in Ireland (and around the world) is dependent on those individuals “fixed on the tiniest minutiae of doctrine” or could it be something more like a clergy and hierarchy who don't teach the faith, who don't live the faith and, indeed, don't have the faith? 😲
