Fake News About Vatican’s Children Hospital

Recently, false reports were spread that three children had died after being vaccinated against Covid-19 at the Vatican Children's Hospital Bambino Gesù in Rome.

It is however true that the hospital administrates such vaccinations to children although there is no evidence that they would benefit children.

The hospital has more employees than the rest of the Vatican. It is under extraterritorial jurisdiction of the Holy See and thus not subject to EU legislation. Therefore, it can use experimental treatments, not approved in Europe. According to Specola (InfoVaticana.com, August 22), the lack of control is absolute.

The hospital's balance sheets do not show any insurance policy because the hospital “prefers to pay and not to enter into legal proceedings that could complicate life.”
