Funny, but with my cat it was when I prayed or said The Rosary or put on a religious show or video of some sort. He would wake up and either run to my side or on a chair or next to me on the couch. Never failed!
You are angry @chris griffin because my cat loved when I prayed or put on a religious movie or show? Why would you be angry over that? I think that is great my cat even knew what it was I was watching. If I put on a game, he would run as if he saw the devil. If I put on anything that was not Catholic, he either walked away or didn't wake up. that says a lot about animals right there. After all a starving donkey walked away from food to bow before The Blessed Sacrament. Fish came out of the sea to hear St. Anthony. And so much more. Philip Neri had a cat. He would catch flies and let them out of the window. And I won't even mention St. Francis or another Saint who brought back TWO pets he loved very much. You are missing out on something beautiful.

We didn't fall for anything but something sweet GOD made for us to enjoy and use for our needs. Fire dogs, Military dogs. Animals who can detect cancers and many other problems. And so much more. They are also here for us to enjoy. And that is all we are doing. It has not nor ever can take us from "anything" Holy. It brings us closer to GOD. If animals can do all those things for us. Why cant we enjoy a silly picture?
This person has posted a number of animal posts when this is supposed to be Catholic. There is so much to know about Holy Week and so much suffering in the world that this comes to frivolity. "Brings us closer to God" ...I feel sorry for you.
This person brings us joy and laughter which GOD gives us. There is no harm in it. Sorry I rather see animals this wk than more garbage of trump, the vax, politics and everything else on here. Like how our Church is falling to pieces. Our Priests and how they don't talk or act like Priests. If not for the few good posts showing the opposite and how our Church is growing, I would say all of gtv is bad. And it all takes us away from Holy Week. But you attack this post out of all the other posts? And you feel sorry for me? You need to think deeper than you have.

@chris griffin I was referring to the posts on here. They show all those things. It is not good for us to see constantly. Some people might fall into despair or depression. We need to fill ourselves with everything good from GOD. And GOD made, blessed and said, this is good. For animals and all His Creation.
Chris, I understand you are a fighter against evil. So no I didn't think you are unkind at all. I knew where you were coming from. And no my fixation is not on animals. To love and enjoy a silly picture? That can never happen. It just breaks up the horrible things we see on here. Like taking a breather so to say. That's all it is. A moment and just a moment to laugh and enjoy something silly.
Also let me put it this way, so you can understand where we are coming from. When we see those pictures and video's of animals, it will release some of the frustration, or whatever people are feeling from so many horrible posts that have nothing to do with our Faith. But..... we suddenly forget those video's and pictures of animals almost immediately when we go to the next post or get off of here. We don't think of it all day or for very long at all. There is no harm in a few seconds of laughter or enjoyment.

@chris griffin Not that many. But women would still had them. Or left them alone to die after birth or on Church steps and other places. But that still has nothing to do with enjoying GOD'S Creation. He is the one to bring us joy through them. Please learn to separate the two. We cry and pray for the aborted. And then we rejoice in GOD'S Creation. As we are suppose to do. Honestly I don't think you are seeing things right. It is but a moment it brings us joy. GOD would not deny us a moment. When it is GOD Himself who made them, blessed them and said, it is good. GOD does not want your heart to be cold for his creation. He wants us to enjoy them. Just for a moment? Do you think this small post is worse than all the garbage we have to see every day? One brings us misery the other joy. No harm in that at all. I am sure GOD is pleased that we take a "moment" out to enjoy such things.
