France: Entire Ecclesiastical Province Bans Sodoma Supplicans

The ten bishops of the ecclesiastical province of Rennes commented on 1st January on Francis' pamphlet 'Sodoma supplicans'.

They note that marriage has been trivialised by turning it into a concept of civil law that ignores the essential specificity of sexual difference.

The bishops reaffirm their prophetic mission to proclaim the beauty of God's design in creating man as male and female.

Their text reads in bold: "For this reason, it is appropriate to spontaneously and individually bless each of the two persons who form a couple, whatever their sexual orientation, who humbly ask for God's blessing with the desire to conform themselves more and more to his holy will".

The wording is everything - individually bless each of the parties who desire more and more to conform themselves to His Holy Will.

If the desire is to conform themselves to His Holy Will, all they need is the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Confession is a great sacrament. It not only forgives sins, it also gives the grace of strengthening the soul in following God's will and avoiding temptation. Plus, it restores the merits of good works that might have been erased by the sin, thus placing the soul back in the state of grace.
FS does not do any of that. Thus FS is not necessary because the Sacrament of Reconciliation is in place. At worst, FS is a near occassion of sin.

A good start, but not nearly enough. Especially in France and particularly in Europe. Much, much more open, direct, unambiguous and fiercely determined resistance and outraged dissent to this sodomy-blessing madness from leading Cardinals, Bishops and other members of the hierarchy throughout the West is needed.

No one would have expected an entire province of French bishops to stand up to the Vatican this way!

This is true. I hope more French bishops and abbots stand up against Pope Francis and Tucho. And other countries too. The more they both try to pound their homo blessings document into the Church, the more we will rebell. I read that now, over 1,000+ world wide bishops oppose Francis and Tucho. Magnificent. I never thought I would see it.
THere is also a movement now, growing every day...demands for the resignation of Pope Francis. I hope this really grows. Before long, he won't be able to tolerate the opposition. If he tries to strike at them, that will just make it worse for him....and even more will rise against him.
Best thing for Bergoglio to do after this documents, is find a nice, quiet monastery and retire in obscurity.
I also read, that if he tries to remake the conclave system, to include women, and laymen, 90% of the present cardinals will oppose him.
Good riddance.
