Mother Marie Ferréol, 57, has decided to take Cardinal Marc Ouellet, 79, to court for material and moral damage, writes LeMonde.fr (August 8).
After thirty-four (!) years, she was dismissed from the Dominican Sisters of Pontcallec in 2021 without explanation.
The decree was signed by Ouellet, who asked Mother Ferréol to leave her habit.
Saint-Wandrille Abbot Jean-Charles Nault where Ouellet spends his summer holidays, and Sainte-Marie-de-Boulaur Abesse Emmanuelle Desjobert were also summoned.
Nault and Desjobert carried out the apostolic visits that led to the Mother Ferréol’s expulsion.
Typical of Francis’ “synodality” Church: Despite repeated requests, the nun has never been told what she is accused of doing and has never been heard.
