Insider Information: Father Pavone Is Victim of His Bishop

In his Christmas message, Father Pavone calls himself only a "pro life leader" dressing like a average Novus Ordo Presider while his Roman collar was on display in front of a picture of Padre Pio (video below).
Originally a priest from New York, Pavone transferred in 2005 to Amarillo Diocese under Bishop John Yanta (+2022) whom Zurek followed in 2008.
Zurek hated Pavone from the start while Pavone was "generally well received by clergy, laity and religious alike,” writes Waldow who was responsible for communicating with Pavone, “In all instances, I can state unequivocally that Father Pavone responded promptly, respectfully and appropriately.”
Waldow recalls an April 2010 meeting between Zurek and Pavone where Pavone spoke about his pro-life ministry and “concomitant frustration at the experience of failure in achieving the same within existing ecclesial polity.”
Waldow says Pavone spoke respectful while Zurek threw a tantrum and withdrew from the meeting "with an expression of anger."
After that, Waldow told Pavone that it was his opinion that he should seek another bishop because Zurek had a "personal animus" against him.
Zurek never missed an opportunity to reveal the toxic nature of his relationship with Pavone and made public remarks about sensitive matters concerning Pavone, "On more than one occasion he has seriously misrepresented the actual situation by his remarks.”
