@True Mass...If you can show me that Communion on the tongue is in the Bible then I will change my mind.
"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, β€œTake and eat; this is my body.” Matt 26:26.

@True Mass...If you can show me that Communion on the tongue is in the Bible then I will change my mind.

"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, β€œTake and eat; this is my body.” Matt 26:26.

Communion in the hand was the standard in the Catholic Church for the first 900 years and the Catacomb drawings show the Apostles with the bread in front of them. The institution of the Eucharist by God himself was done by Communion in the hand and also even more clearly was the Communion in the hand at Emmaus...

"When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight." Luke 24:30-31

Thus we have two clear and dramatic acts by our Lord himself instituting Communion in the Hand and 900 years of Catholic tradition.

I urge you to shake off your modernist, man-made traditions and return to the obvious tradition of Jesus and the Saints.

You can do if you pray for understanding. Thanks and God Bless you.

Have at it Chris. For me, Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior and my God. I love him, revere him and if ever called upon, hope I'd have the courage to die for him. He is Truth and true King. And for that I will receive him only kneeling and on the tongue.
My hands are filthy. I know where they've been and they are not worthy to touch my Lord.
And my hands are pretty clean.

"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, β€œTake and eat; this is my body.” Matt 26:26. TAKE AND EAT sure sounds like Communion in the hand
