Another Priest Slaughtered

Fathers John Mark Cheitnum and Donatus Cleophas (both from Kafanchan Diocese) were abducted from the presbytery of Christ the King Church in Lere on 15 July.

Four days later, the decomposing body of Rev. Cheitnum was found on a farm near his abduction site. He was massacred on the very day of his abduction. Cheitnum was a dean and the diocesan director of social communication.

Father Cleophas managed to escape. Since January, 18 Nigerian priests have been kidnapped by Islamic Fulani gunmen demanding ransom payments. Four priests have been murdered. The Fulani are supported by Saudi Arabia, an ally of the Western regimes. That is why the oligarch media treats the dead Christians in Nigeria as a minor issue.
