Dear brothers and sisters, in England a recent survey devoted entirely to focus the mental health of British students (A poll of almost 38,000 UK students attending Universities in England, Scotland and Wales) seen exclusively by the Guardian, sounded the alarm. The percentage of students reporting problems (even very serious ones) related to mental health is so high that it seems like a real epidemic.
Researchers believe that the causes of the stress produced by university life are essentially two. The first is that, even though the university environment is rich in novelty and new experiences, entails, at the same time, also difficulties, both relational and academic, that students must face alone without the direct support of their parents.
