Lately "German bishop says..." is synonymous with heresy and blasphemy. The Church doesn't need a "new theology".She needs to excommunicate those who would argue it does and hold steadfastly to the one she already has. Herr Wilmer chooses to forget the "old" theology is working wonderfully in Africa.

As far as women being ordained, I honestly do not know if it dogma if so I would like to read the encyclical which explains it. If not let them be ordained but both pro and against needs to give up their will be done and take what ever is Gods will be done.
Germans get more credit than they deserve for being smart. When it comes to gadgets, they're pretty good. They should stick to that. When it comes to everything else, particularly religion and politics, they are a disaster.
