Next Step: Archbishop Forbids Live-Streaming of Roman Mass

La Serena Archbishop René Rebolledo Salinas, 62, Chile, forbad his priests to broadcast Roman Rite Masses on the internet.

The news was announced by Father Carlos Gabriel Bolelli Serra on Facebook.com (August 8, Video below). Rebolledo thus deprives hundreds of faithful which are under Covid curfew of Belelli's Mass.

Internet voices suggested that Francis’ Vatican should get Google.com, Facebook.com and Twitter.com to ban all images and videos of the Roman Mass for "breaking our community standards."

Evidently, this bishop doesn't understand the international nature of the Internet and live streaming.

Becoming easier to recognize those that have contempt for the Catholic Faith.

It’s time to give our material support to the priests who serve us so selflessly, while denying it to the bishops who care nothing for our salvation. They are servants of the almighty “Council” before they are servants of Christ. This even includes most of the “good guys.” If this means that we lose access to our churches, I think we will have to live with that.

Another unlawful order that need not be obeyed. Authority is given to Bishops in order to work for the salvation of souls. When they try to use their authority to suppress the faith they must be resisted.
