When my wife asked what the child abuse was the teacher says, "Little Johnny told me that when he and his sister are really bad their mother makes them pray to be better".
So my wife says, "Yeah, and....?" Thinking like maybe the mother makes them kneel on broken glass or something like that.
No, the teacher said that was it. Making the child pray and ask for forgiveness.
As a mandatory reporter the teacher had to report the incident to the proper authorities for investigation. My wife just hung up the phone.
By the way, almost all CPS workers despise public school teachers and their worthless so-called reporting.
