Today July 1st, 2023, Francis took one of the most revolutionary steps so far in his decade-long novelty-studded pontificate. He has appointed his fellow-Argentinian, Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernández, the main theologian behind Amoris Laetitia, as the new Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. Fernández has a long track record of promoting the modernist idea of the evolution of doctrine, claiming (wrongly) that the magisterium has contradicted itself on religious liberty and slavery, and that this sets a precedent for further evolution on … you guessed it, sexual morality. In an essay he promoted the sophistry that while indeed divorced and remarried Catholics who remain sexually active are in an "objective state of mortal sin", they can nevertheless sometimes be absolved in the confessional and receive sanctifying grace without a firm purpose of amendment, and so receive Communion. How does Fernández try to justify this position? Well, the Catholic doctrine that …More
Our Guardian Angels must really be pleased when we participate in Holy Mass. I love the image of them bringing the little gifts we have to offer to the altar.
This would be a nice video, if the new rite mass was not depicted. The Latin rite is the original and only true catholic mass...the new rite mass is half valid. The Latin rite mass is and will always be the true catholic mass... the angels in this video are also false. They are depicted as male and female. No such thing, angels are not gender specific... the new rite mass needs to be dismantled totally because it is Protestant at it core...please Lord rise up a Pope that will ban the fruits of Vatican 2....
November 8, 2019 (www.lifesitenews.com) – While Synod Fathers in Rome recently called for “ministries” to be conferred on women in the Amazonian church, parishes in the Netherlands have already opened their doors to females addressed as “pastors” who perform many tasks traditionally carried out by priests. While these female pastoral workers dress and often act like priests in the running of Dutch parishes, they are really professional paid workers who have no ministerial functions and they are not ordained. However, in some places these women overstep their role, giving the impression that they are virtual priests, choosing to wear what looks like liturgical garments and being officially addressed as “Pastor.” This is actually a play on words. In the Netherlands, this used to be the title used for Protestant preachers, with the accent on the first syllable, while Catholic priests were known as “Pastoor,” pronounced like “store” with the accent on the second syllable. The confusion …
The recent tree-planting ceremony in the Vatican, a preview kick-off for the Amazonian Synod, featured a sort of tribal picnic blanket on which were placed various native statues and objects. The above scene was described by Getty Images, thus: ROME, ITALY - OCTOBER 04: Pope Francis and Cardinal Cardinal Cláudio Hummes, Archbishop Emeritus of São Paulo, President of the Pan-Amazonian Ecclesial Network (REPAM), stand in front of a statue representing Pachamama (Mother Earth) as they celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at the Vatican Gardens on October 04, 2019 in Rome, Italy. During a highly symbolic tree-planting ceremony in the Vatican Gardens on Friday, Pope Francis places the upcoming Synod for the Amazon under the protection of Saint Francis of Assisi. (Photo by Giulio Origlia/Getty Images) This obviously seems embarrassingly pagan, so apologists for the Vatican soon spread the word that the two most prominent statues ("Pachamama" and a similar one) actually represented …
ROME, September 28, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) —Flanked by banners of the four evangelists, and gathered under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary, an international coalition of 200 Catholic laity on Saturday assembled in silence near St. Peter’s Square, to pray “as a united army against the enemies of God and the Church.” Standing at the foot of Castel Sant’Angelo on the eve of the liturgical feast of St. Michael the Archangel, the international lay coalition launched an “appeal to the angels against the evil spirits,” ahead of the Amazonian Synod being held at the Vatican Oct. 6-27. LifeSite has learned that another act of spiritual warfare was taking place in Rome contemporaneously with the Acies Ordinata. At 3:30 pm, priests privately prayed Pope Leo XIII’s Prayer of Exorcism (the longer prayer to St. Michael) in a church near Castel Sant’Angelo, with the intention of expelling the “diabolical influence from the Vatican, especially in view of the Amazon Synod.” Acies Ordinata …
