Good Lent Good Death.
Although we all must die… each of us must turn to ashes, so to speak, there are two ends for man after death… two kinds of eternity… eternal life and eternal perdition. There is a good death and bad death… But from this death, we will all be brought back. If we die well, what a wonderful reunion is in store for us. If we die badly, what a dread is in store for us. Lent helps us prepare for a good and holy death, one that is united with Christ’s death on Good Friday… so that we will be united to Him, body and soul, at our own future Resurrection.
